Search Engine Optimization is basically the process of affecting visibility of your website over the internet. If your site has relevant information, easy to read, understandable and related to search query it will rank really good in Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).

On-Page v/s Off-page

So take a look at all of them, and lets see if you will find important.
(I am assuming that you know how your search rank increased, how much keywords are important to increase your rank, how to bid for your keywords, backlinks)

On-page optimization is far better because

2. I personally know many people who don't use adword for their bussiness i don't know why? But trust me adword is just not about paying for your ads it's about reaching to the more customers or your conversions. In this world of technology take advantage as much as you can to increase your sales. And it will indirectly help you to retain your customer or attract new customers, suppose if your ad is at the first position on SERP, you will get more traffic automatically. And it will help you to increase your Rank.

3. If you are reading this Blog, you must be thinking about how to make money through online marketing or want to write your own blogs and earn money so here is the best way to make it simple by signing in or link your website/blog with Adsense. It is one of the best way if you belive in your content quality. Trust me there are a lot of people who are facing the problem that you were thinking to write, so just write it and google adsense will help you to earn money with it.

Now what about Off-page Seo

I know that about 60-70% Work include in Off-page segment like social media, video, backlinks etc. but, for off-page seo you need specialisation in your skills and knowledge. Like you have to maintain a proper Excel sheet of 1000s of links , and you also have to check again and again that which blog comment is approved or not which is very time consuming. 

And if, while link building your page is not in a good quality google will decrease the rank of your page, and Off-page process takes a lot of time to rank the page.

And if you are thinking about directories most of them are fake or spammy, and most of them are paid ( and if you really want to spend you can invest in adword). The classified are also not permanent, after some period of time they are deleted.

And for Real engagement you have to wait for a long time even for the rate of return you have to wait for a long period.Off-page is also not very quick responsive it take time for lead or conversion or may be you get no traffic on your site.
